About

I’m a 27 year old semi-professional reader moonlighting as a writer. Books are my great love – and because social norms dictate how much I’m allowed to bore the people in my life with book talk, I’ve chosen to profess my thoughts and opinions here.

I’m particularly partial to the Russians: Tolstoy being my personal favorite, Dostoevsky, and Gogol among others. Lyudmila Ulitskaya is my favorite contemporary Russian writer – she of the sweeping narrative of Tolstoy. I also nurse a soft spot for Haruki Murakami – (God only knows why), Jeffrey Eugenides, British classics and…

Really, I’ll read just about anything, and write about it here.

Thank you for reading.
